This start-up company has moved from strength to strength, flourishing after the huge rise of online shopping throughout the lockdowns. With around 30 small-business clients who supply their products to the NZ market, this 3PL fulfil around 150 orders per day on average, up to 300 during busy holiday periods.
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for someone ambitious to jump on board in these early days, to potentially move into an Operations Manager role in the future. The company culture is very positive, with attitude toward having a work-life balance.
Working at the East Tamaki site, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and small team. At the start of the day you will need to manage the day’s workload and plan accordingly, setting the team up for the day. You will be expected to be very hands-on at this early stage, for example, helping with picking and packing. You will be enthusiastic, energetic, and ambitious, taking satisfaction from getting the job done on time.
Skills / requirements:
- Warehousing supervisory experience
- Hands-on and willing-to-learn attitude
- Reasonable technical ability, to use 3PL software
- One recent work reference
- Reliable transport
