Your new role
The supply Chain Coordinator role a key role in establishing, maintaining and improving the logistics function for the business in New Zealand. The fresh nature of the products, the quality standards set by the company and the high performance expected by customers asks for a logistics network that is run flawlessly on a daily basis. This role is a critical role in building stakeholder relationships, improvement in business efficiencies and the continual enhancement of process, performance results and cultural goals.
Key amongst the improvement areas will be financial visibility and validation of spend, financial forecasting support with reporting support from forecast to P&L. Further, the development and ownership of a clearly defined interaction with the AU supply chain regarding inventory transfer alignment, inventory coordination in NZ and the expanding of process in NZ to support proactive inventory management. This will include a keen alignment to forecasting inputs with the sales team, understanding of customer activity alignment with forecast and building excellent relationships with customers to gain an outstanding understanding of their reporting capability, ordering and inventory management practices and continuously develop the interaction and business improvement with our customers. They key performance areas for the role will be the following:

What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally 4 year’s experience in a coordinator / management support function with supply chain operations
- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Customer focused
- Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects through to completion and to manage competing priorities
- Project management skills
- Commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of the impact of failure in terms of business cost, production schedules and customer order fulfilment
- Excellent attention to detail skills
