Your new company
You will be working with an Australian start up on accounting and law software. They are based all across Australia and this would be the only position in New Zealand so you would have autonomy over the role.
Your new role
Working with a small team you will be the main developer looking after their accounting CRM platform where you will help convert the system by rebuilding and expanding the product features. You will be integrating different API’s, adding multi-currency platforms, online payments and multi jurisdiction legalities. As the key developer looking after this platform, you will work with the Team Lead and take ownership of your own code including designing the features so you must be confident in E2E development
What you'll need to succeed
You must be able to work independently and be confident in all aspects of development. Attention to detail is key and the work must be about quality over quantity – correct coding and testing is imperative. You will be able to think on your feet and be confident to develop without set specifications given to you. It is a great role for someone who likes to work autonomously and is looking to become more involved in end-to-end development including designing specifications right through to deployment. A background working with accounting software is advantageous

This is a completely remote position so you can be based anywhere in New Zealand so on top of an attractive salary package you also get flexible work hours. As the company is based in Australia they will look to fly this person to Australia once a year for their company get together (subject to border requirements)
