Senior Recruitment Consultant- Key Account Manager

Your new role

Reporting to the Regional Director of the Auckland office, an opportunity exists for an ambitious individual to join as an IT Key Account Manager. Managing relationships with some of our most valued and established customers, the role is central to Hays exceeding the expectations of our preferred client partners and outperforming our competitors.

With influence and responsibility across a broad cross-section of the Hays business, the role is also critical from an internal leadership perspective.

Key objectives include:

  • To engage with the broad range of PSA clients, who are not centrally account managed, with particular emphasis on client meetings, job generation, and engaging key consultants.
  • To maximize business opportunities with key accounts across business units.
  • To identify and resolve barriers preventing us from partnering effectively.
  • Proactively pursue opportunities to develop new and future relationships.
  • Contribute to implementation of new supply arrangements.
  • Map out key projects to identify and pursue commercial opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
We would like to hear from ambitious and innovative Consultants with a flair for new business generation to work alongside a team of talented Recruiters.

You’ll have high energy, passion and a focus on establishing strong relationship and great service delivery, you’ll thrive working in a fast-paced environment, within a complex organisation and in a highly competitive market. We would be interested in hearing from candidates who have proven recruitment / sales / IT sales experience or candidates who have previously been in a key account management role where business development has been a strong focus.
