A multi-discipline consultancy with offices throughout New Zealand and a workforce of over 130 employees. They are a full 360 consultancy and provide Structural, Geotechnical, Civil, Fire and Environmental Engineering Services, plus Project Management and Architectural Services. They are a very forward-thinking innovative company to work for and are now seeking a Geotechnical engineering – Team Leader.
Your new role
As the Geotechnical Engineering Team leader, you will have up to 6 direct reports and will autonomously working on a range of projects. You will have a strong appreciation of Geotechnical challenges across varied sites for residential and commercial development with solution focused design and report writing skills; coordinating with structural engineers and project managers on various projects from design to completion.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll get in return
- To be successful for this role you will need to ideally have:
- A bachelor’s of civil engineering or equivalent
- 5 years relevant experience within New Zealand
- CPEng accreditation or be working towards
- Strong technical abilities with deep foundations and ground improvement design
- Strong management and people skills
- Client and business development focused
