Office/ Facilities Manager

Starting ASAP, permanent position offering up to $75k depending on experience

Reporting the Workplace Experience Manager, this is a pivotal role leading and supervising the Facilities team in New Zealand.

Your new role
The purpose of this role is to provide reception, meeting coordination and general administrative support to the Wellington team. You will be first point of contact for visitors and internal staff for all matters relating to bookings, face to face meetings, events, audio visual meetings and catering. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • To develop and maintain excellent relationships with the Client on site as well as practising excellent
    teamwork and support for the other members of the service
  • To assist with the compilation of all daily, weekly and monthly audits, inspections & reports, and
    address all areas in a timely and efficient manner with detailed responses to all Client requests and
    actions
  • To ensure the Client premises maintains a high-level maintenance and appearance
  • To report to the Workplace Experience Manager when and as required to do so for the effective
    overall management of the contract
  • To effectively lead, develop and motivate your service team, monitoring and solving personnel issues
    as they arise within the operations and taking actions to correct all employee performance that falls
    below the required standard


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to commit to full time hours Monday-Friday. This role is based entirely on-site and therefore working from home cannot be supported. You'll be an excellent problem solver with the ability to use your initiative to get the job done without too much direction. Most of all we are looking for someone with a bubbly personality who will fit in well with the team!
