Civil Project Manager opportunity in Auckland with leading contractor

This contractor has a strong presence in the civil industry, not only for the size of the company but also for taking on large projects all over Auckland, Northland, the Waikato & Wellington. They specialise in a broad scope of work including civil infrastructure, land development, roadworks, structures & utilities.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing numerous projects within budget and timeframes
  • Providing regular reports on project progress
  • Motivating the team on site
  • Training and developing those who are on your team
  • Ensuring client expectations are achieved
  • Implementing H&S and QA on site

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • A thorough understanding of the civil construction industry
  • Have dealt with projects $5m plus
  • Great work ethic, team player and the drive to do well
  • Exceptional planning, time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to provide leadership to site teams
  • A thorough understanding of the civil construction industry
  • Good computer literacy
