They’re involved in a wide variety of large and small projects which include safety barriers, civil works, earthworks, drainage, roading and general contracting throughout civil, commercial and residential sectors.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote, lead and support zero harm culture
- Projects to be delivered to clients on time, within budget and to clients satisfaction
- Ensure stakeholder relationships are enhanced
- Managing contractual issues on site
- Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery
- Manage work on site to meet programme and financial targets
- Ensure that the team on site are carrying out their duties in a safe and professional manner
- Manage subcontractor performance
- Develop relationships with client representatives
- Involve team in setting clear targets for their area of responsibility
- Generate team culture through motivation and development
- Ensure Health & Safety systems are in place and complied with
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years in Civil Construction in either a Project Engineer role or Project Manager role
- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
- Experience with leading a team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to build long term relationships
- The ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities at the same time
- A thorough understanding of the civil construction industry
- The ability to mentor those that you will supervise on site
- A driven personality
