Civil Project Manager Wanted in Auckland - Immediate Start

Your new company
This Auckland based Civil Contractor is one of Auckland’s leaders within the civil infrastructure space. They’re involved in a wide variety of large and small projects which including pipelines, land development, retaining, structures, rail, and project management.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote, lead and support zero harm culture
  • Projects to be delivered to clients on time, within budget and to clients satisfaction
  • Ensure stakeholder relationships are enhanced
  • Managing contractual issues on site
  • Overall responsibility for specific project implementation and delivery
  • Manage work on site to meet programme and financial targets
  • Ensure that the team on site are carrying out their duties in a safe and professional manner
  • Manage subcontractor performance
  • Develop relationships with client representatives
  • Involve team in setting clear targets for their area of responsibility
  • Generate team culture through motivation and development
  • Ensure Health & Safety systems are in place and complied with

What you'll need to succeed
  • 4+ years in Civil Construction Manager role
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Experience with leading a team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to build long term relationships
  • The ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities at the same time
  • A thorough understanding of the civil construction industry
  • The ability to mentor those that you will supervise on site
  • A driven personality
