Civil Project Engineer wanted specialising in Utilities - Auckland

Your new company
This Auckland based Civil Contractor is one of Auckland’s leaders within the civil infrastructure space. Established 25 years ago, this company has taken on a wide variety of large and small projects specialising in utilities. They have over 150 people in the company and are only getting bigger due to their extensive pipeline of projects.

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote, lead and support zero harm culture
  • Site management of medium to large scale civil projects
  • Ensure that the team on site are carrying out their duties in a safe and professional manner
  • Implementing a good healthy work culture on site
  • Forward planning to be efficient and organised
  • Generate team culture through motivation and development
  • Ensure Health & Safety systems are in place and complied with

What you'll need to succeed
  • 3+ years in Civil Construction
  • Utilities experience – water specifically
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to build long term relationships
  • The ability to read plans and specifications
  • The ability to co-ordinate multiple priorities at the same time
  • A thorough understanding of the civil construction industry
  • Good experience with word and excel
  • A driven personality
