Your new role:
The Payroll Manager is required to manage the payroll function ensuring employee terms and conditions are met along with all legislative requirements. They also ensures that the department meets all payroll’s objectives.

• Interpret day-to-day business objectives and preparation/execution of operational practices/work programs.
• Manages payroll team.
• Payroll customer service for External and Internal requirements.
• Human Resource/Payroll Reporting for External and Internal requirements.
• Respond to enquiries and requests for information from customers.
• Develop and improve resources, policies, procedures and systems

What you'll need experience in:

• Leading a large team (8+) paying roughly 3000+ employee's
• Experienced in complex multi-union and MECA environment
• New Zealand Legislative/Payroll knowledge
• Process improvement
• High level of computer literacy
• Health Sector/Local Government experience is preferable but not necessary
