NZ Sales Manager

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director Asia-Pacific, the role will head our cards and document business, provide management direction to the sales team and build strong and viable relationships with clients across all market segments for New Zealand.
  • Lead the NZ sales team (4 Account Managers) by providing coaching and development to enable them to achieve and exceed sales targets and build long term customer relationships.
  • Manage sales to meet agreed revenue targets for the NZ business across financial, commercial and government clients.
  • Demonstrate to existing and potential clients our ability to deliver solutions and maximise opportunities to value-add.
  • Assist in the development of collegiate relationships and ongoing staff development.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and maintain or facilitate senior level contact in designated accounts. Collaborate with marketing resources and the sales leadership team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer's business.
  • Monitor customer service standards such as reporting, invoicing and overall performance/ efficiencies.
  • Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, key customers, industry associations and industry representatives to achieve sales objectives.
  • Conduct monthly reporting of milestone achievements, sales pipeline and development plans.
  • Accurately and actively manage business unit expenses; and
  • Ensure all the activities of the sales staff comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience managing a geographically dispersed sale team.
  • Knowledge and experience within the printing industry (cards and documents), specifically of chip card technology is preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing an annual sales plan and achievement of sales and profit targets.
  • Ability to think strategically and commercial acumen to identify and develop customer solutions.
