Our client exists to serve New Zealand’s design community and represent its interests to the wider world. We represent a range of disciplines: graphic design, digital design, motion design, spatial design, industrial design (product design), design in business and design education.

Your new role
Are you someone who loves process and systems and have an eye for detail but also has the confidence to engage with members verbally? This role is a combination of looking after the Institutes membership and office administration. Keys tasks:
  • Annual renewal of membership
  • Membership retention and debtors
  • New members processed
  • Professional peer reviews
  • Growing membership
  • Social media
  • General office administration including phone and reception, maintaining stationery and computer supplies, making travel arrangements, operating wall planner and checking deadlines.
  • Handling incoming queries on membership
  • Daily log in to Xero to check payments received into various accounts
  • Retention of members wanting to resign. Know their membership type and all and have a conversation with them

What you'll need to succeed
  • Excellent communicator
  • High process driven
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A people-person
  • Understanding of Excel
  • Xero knowledge is a plus
  • Willing to learn
