Our client is a global leader in their field and continue to grow and evolve, their New Zealand business has sites nationally with a diverse workforce. An opportunity has arisen to join their HR team based in Auckland.
Your new role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll be responsible for providing high quality HR services to the business to help achieve their objectives. You'll work closely with the Managers to advise, support and coach on a full remit including
- Recruitment and on-boarding
- HR advice and partnering
- Performance management
- Organisation development
- Policies and procedures.
Being a valued member of the HR team, you'll work closely with the HR Manager to support a collaborative and high performance culture.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have experience of working in a hands on generalist HR role previously and will thrive in a fast paced and varied role, responding quickly to changing demands whilst demonstrating strong attention to detail. You'll enjoy recruitment within your role and supporting Hiring Managers to attract the best talent.
Strong coaching and influencing skills will be a given along with problem solving and decision making skills and exceptional relationship building abilities.
You'll be commercially savvy with a good understanding and working knowledge of the New Zealand legislation and challenges, experience of working with a unionised environment would be advantageous.
