Our client is a New Zealand owned multidisciplinary consultancy, with a reputation for producing high quality consulting services whilst offering a friendly and reliable service to clients. They have a broad range of clients including private developers, government and local authorities and businesses. Projects range from small to multi-lot subdivisions to multi story buildings. Currently they are seeking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer who is looking to take their next step in their career towards management and join their Bay of Plenty team.

Your new role
  • Manage the geotechnical team from a staffing and workload perspective
  • Be responsible for key geotechnical design projects from the initial investigation through to site supervision
  • Consult with clients to provide the best design advice

What you'll need to succeed
  • A tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in relevant geotechnical engineering assessments and foundation designs
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • CPEng or working towards it
