Your new company
Our client is a New Zealand owned multidisciplinary consultancy, with a reputation for producing high quality consulting services. They have a broad range of clients and work on a mix of projects including land development, land-slide remediation and retaining structures. They are currently seeking a geotechnical engineer to manage their close-knit Auckland team and undertake the lead engineer role on significant projects.
Your new role
As their Team Leader you will manage the Geotechnical division of their Auckland office as well as provide technical advice to their other offices in New Zealand. You will be responsible for their key projects and will be required to work on designs from the initial investigation through to site supervision. As a senior member of staff you will also work closely with clients and will be responsible for promoting and growing the business.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have the following skills and experience:
What you'll get in return
- A tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in relevant geotechnical engineering assessments and foundation designs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- CPEng or working towards it
