A well-established Kiwi business, operating over 12+ years in the NZ market have gained a reputation for #1 supplier within their industry and now they need to hire a critical role within the organisation as Finance Manager which will provide you will numerous ongoing opportunities to enhance your career in a complete end-to-end senior finance role.
Your new role
This role is part of the senior leadership team and requires a forward focus. Key responsibilities include;
- Management of a small team in the AR/AP functions
- Liaising with external Auditors
- Preparation of all monthly financial reports, including year-end results
- Presentation of results to managers
- Statutory returns, including GST/FBT
- Accurate forecasting and tracking budgets
- Ensuring Tax compliance
What you'll need to succeed
You will have well-rounded accounting skills with 5+ years' experience, be degree qualified and ideally hold a relevant CA/CPA membership - highly desirable! You will be able to prove ability in presenting complex financial data to non-finance managers, leadership and development of direct staff reports, working knowledge of IFRS reporting and experience making recommendations to management in relation to forecasts and growth opportunities. Furthermore, you will hold a proactive and inquisitive nature with high attention to detail and the ability to pick up new systems and processes very quickly.

Also, you will be rewarded with a fully negotiable base salary up to $120,000 exclusive of 3% Kiwi Saver contributions plus ongoing training and free car parking on site.
