Design and build commercial construction is their strength. Working under the construction management model, clients are supported from initial concept, through design management, project delivery, and construction management services. Leading the on-site team, their Site Managers support both the client and supply chain to maximise time, methodology, and resources.


Your new role
With a strong pipeline of work ahead, an opportunity has come up for a Site Manager to join the team in Christchurch! This is a key role within this business, providing the right person the opportunity to enhance their career, as they grow their capability across the region.

What you’ll bring to the table
You will have a proven track record in Site Management working across a range of commercial projects. You will be client focused, a natural problem solver, effective communicator and enjoy working with the client and your supply chain, to achieve the best outcomes. You will be driven by achieving the best results through collaboration with all stakeholders and highly motivated to co-ordinate your project workforce to ensure the smooth running of your project.
Working closely with members of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction stage of your site and supporting the project manager as required.

Experience we would be interested to see includes:
  • Experience working on medium size commercial projects ($10million to $70million)
  • Knowledge of and experience delivering design and build projects from start to finish
  • Sub-Contractor management, ensuring levels of productivity are met
  • Managing and driving program, producing short term programmes, using Microsoft Project to detail resources and construction methodologies to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Overseeing quality control, monitoring to support contractors to achieve the best results
  • Health and Safety, including toolbox meetings and safety audits
