Client Side Project Manager

Your new company
Long established NZ listed business, has an opening for a Project Manager to join their Nelson business. This role is available due to organic growth within their business. They have a very strong pipeline of projects for you to sink your teeth into.

Your new role
  • Assist with management of design and consenting of works.
  • Programme building works, Including new builds, refurbishments, repairs, and alterations.
  • Input into PCG reports and attend PCG meetings where required.
  • Liaise with Village Managers to facilitate on site building works.
  • Coordinate staging of works where required.
  • Manage site instructions, contract clarifications and design details between contractors, designers, village management
  • Monitor progress and report against the project programme. Develop plans to mitigate time overruns.
  • Run and site meetings, record minutes and actions.
  • Monitor site instructions & variations and report against project cost plan.
  • Procure contractors/trades.
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are complied with at all times.
  • Review and ensure contractor H&S plans
