Your new role
Reporting directly to the NZ Managing Director, the CFO role is ultimately responsible for all financial actions of the company and accountable for tracking cash flow, developing the organisations financial strategy and overseeing all aspects of its financial success. Your role will involve but not limited to;
  • Leading a wider Accounting and Finance team with approx. 3 direct reports
  • Contribute to the achievement of long-term growth and profitability objectives
  • Provide valuable input to the development of long-term regional strategic planning
  • Work in collaboration with Corporate (Japan) and Regional (Singapore) headquarters
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts for the whole organisation
  • Manage all financial input and acumen for strategic deals and contract negotiations
  • Establishing and monitoring efficient financial controls
  • Corporate reporting on financial results with reconciliation between local GAAP and US GAAP
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on the creation and implementation of company strategy

What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary level qualifications and professional membership (CA/CPA or equivalent)
  • 12+ years’ relevant and proven practical management and operational experience
  • Relevant experience dealing with a large complex and corporate overseas shareholder
  • Strategic planning and resource management skills
  • Negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who leads by example and encourages teamwork and collaboration
  • Extremely deadline driven and able to effectively prioritise work
  • Expertise in US GAAP / IFRS financial reporting
  • Exposure to various complex ERP systems
