Business Insurance Consultant - Albany

You will provide exceptional customer experience to IAG’s Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Customers.
You will provide exceptional customer experience to IAG’s Small, Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Customers. Ensuring IAG customers specific business insurance needs are uncovered, and solutions offered to meet these needs.

Working Monday to Friday 8:00 to 6:00 including occasional Saturdays. This is a hybrid working arrangement where you will be required to work from both home and in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take Inbound calls to proactively identify customers’ business needs and value-add opportunities
  • Engage customers in quality interactions via a combination of existing and new channels to uncover insurance needs and provide solutions to meet these needs
  • Coordinate with the Underwriting team to identify best solutions for customers’ business needs
  • Provide excellent customer service experiences that exceed their expectations and provide effective resolution of customer queries and provide appropriate solutions
  • Develop and maintain insurance product and systems technical knowledge, including any risk and compliance requirements.
  • Actively participate as a constructive contributor with your immediate team and IAG colleagues to deliver on IAG purpose and strategy

Skills and Experience:

  • Effective communication skills: listening, verbal and written
  • Passionate about helping people and relationship building skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Confident computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in Insurance and/or Finance industry (desirable)
  • Experience with running a small business (desirable)
  • Not essential, however if you are proficient in both English and Korean, Mandarin or Cantonese languages, we would love to see your application
