Exciting bookkeeper role based in Wellington CBD

Your new company
This private sector organisation is rapidly growing and is therefore looking to recruit two skilled bookkeeper to join the their busy finance team based in Wellington CBD. This is a great opportunity for you to further develop your financial skill set while enjoying the freedom of being able to WFH with flexible working hours.

Your new role
You will report directly to the Finance lead and will be responsible for recording transactions and maintaining key accounting records while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
The main duties for this role include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with the accounts receivable and payable function
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Posting journal entries and expenses/payments
  • Ensuring that all expenses are recorded accurately
  • Assisting with timesheet management
  • Preparing & reconciling prepayments and accruals

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have had 1-2 years in a similar role and will ideally have a relevant Accounting qualification. It is essential that you possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and will also be a quick learner
