Our client is currently seeking Area Managers who are fans of tech products. Are you looking for an position in Christchurch with the possibility of travelling to other cities within South Island area.
You will be provided training in Auckland.
- Area: South Island, office in Christchurch
- Full time, 40 hours a week
- Monday to Friday
- Salary: $70k plus incentives (every 6 months)
- Location: Christchurch (base)
Your new role
Ensures achievement of sell-out targets by the overall supervision of the different volume drivers –visual merchandising, retail display prime positioning and optimization, training of sales reps, pricing compliance, promotions and sales representative incentives.
- Ensures sell-through of key products by close collaboration and partnership with the retail stores, and store managers
- Supervises promoters and ensures team compliance on various company standards
- Tracks retail performance
- Supervises deployment and regular monitoring of trade assets
- Ensures submission of daily reports
- Maintaining good relationships
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time, Eg- Representing client at trade expos, training events and conferences
What you'll need to succeed
- A passion for tech products and a proven experience in similar role
- A minimum of 2 years of sales or marketing experience.
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
