Their flexible hours, no-drama approach and flat structure has proven successful over the years as they are continuing to grow from strength to strength. They have a vacancy for someone with strong IT skills and a management accounting background.

Your new role
This opportunity largely focuses on improving the quality of accounting/information systems and financial data to assist with implementation, training, review and day to day use. You will help clients interpret the information to drive their business. As a member of the app advisory team you will have a detailed knowledge of accounting standards and business software.

You will also have excellent skills in compliance and management accounting with the ability to analyse financial data to produce reports for internal and external parties. This will include cashflow forecasts, detailed budgets, carrying out due diligence work for business sales and purchases, restructures and refinancing.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with strong IT technical skills who understands accounting and software systems as you will be advising on a variety of accounting software packages.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys client contact and using their software knowledge.

You will need to have:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in the accounting sector
  • Proven experience working with accounting software and advisory services is essential
  • Ability to undertake specialist system scoping, review and implementation work
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of various software and programs including Xero, Reckon, MYOB, Cashbook Manager, Dear Inventory, Xero Inventory, Vend.
  • Understanding of various other practice management tools including Asana, Practice Ignition, Debtor Daddy, Xero Practice Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and their businesses.

What you'll get in return
The role is paying between $60,000 and $75,000 depending on experience. The role offers variety and challenge and will give you the opportunity to work autonomously.
