AMP Life is transitioning its business model to be an in-force specialist life insurer, with a focus on providing existing customers in Australia and New Zealand with insurances such as income protection, disability and life insurances and savings & investment products.

In 2020, it is planned that AMP Life will be sold by AMP to Resolution Life, a global in-force life insurance specialist.

About the role

This role is responsible for the management of the team to ensure maintenance and updating of the Adviser records and registers to meet sales, retention and service performance.

Lead the team to ensure that individuals are skilled and capable of performing their role and appropriately facilitating the sale and purchase of registers.

Main focus areas:

  • Delivery of Adviser administration services to the Adviser network, including policy transfers, data changes and related system changes.
  • Auditing and checking data and information within core systems related to Advisers and Adviser Business to ensure it is accurate and privacy processes are maintained.
  • Management reporting, trend analysis and insights across Register management.
  • Provide support to Adviser Relationships Managers for complex or large scale Register changes.

Capabilities & Experience

  • Experience working within the Financial Services industry and with some experience of leading or coaching others.
  • Analytical and financial skills and the ability to think laterally and strategically.
  • Understanding of contemporary reporting, compliance, regulatory and legislative issues.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) to collaboratively grow the business.
  • Ability to interpret and develop practices and procedures that meet legislative requirements.
  • Strong analytical and process management skills, with the ability to identify and implement areas that will improve productivity, accuracy and good customer outcomes.
